Grain seeder KASI NO TILL
The KASI NO TILL seed drill is designed for row sowing of grain crops (wheat, rye, barley, oats), leguminous crops (peas, lentils, beans, chickpeas, lupins), rapeseed and flax with the simultaneous introduction of granular mineral fertilizers into the rows using the NO TILL technology . The seeder can be used for sowing seeds of other crops, close to cereals in terms of seed size and sowing rates (buckwheat, millet, etc.).
The KASI seeder performs one very important function — high-quality sowing in unprepared soil, because the zero-tillage system does not involve cultivation or any other soil preparation. For this, the seeder has a high pressure on the coulter to maintain the exact depth and a reliable seed feeding system for high-quality placement of seeds in the row. The massiveness and heavy weight of the Kasi is connected with the need for great pressure on each coulter. That is why they are not mounted, but only trailed.

Two-disc coulter
The basis of the seeder is a two-disc coulter, which, with the help of a parallelogram attachment, perfectly copies the unevenness of the field, accurately withstands the set depth of wrapping at high sowing speeds and ensures high productivity. During operation, the discs easily penetrate the soil, the grain clamp located between them flattens the seeds in the gap and improves their contact with the soil. The spring-loaded parallelogram mechanism creates pressure from 80 to 300 kg on the coulter, which is concentrated on the rubber roller that rolls the furrow. The necessary deepening of the discs and, accordingly, the sowing depth is set by adjusting the position of the roller. The design of the opener consists of two parts connected by a hinge. This feature ensures accurate rolling even when sowing in fields with a complex contour and frequent turns.
TWO TYPES OF SPACE
The KASI planter can be equipped with coulters with row spacing 17 cm, which is suitable for most grain crops, according to the customer's requirements. Spacing 19 cm is suitable for sowing in conditions of a large amount of plant remains on the surface of the soil.
